Community Development Committee
Diamond Area Community Development Committee (CDC) coordinates Community Development Associations across Diamond Area and works closely with government agencies, community leaders and residents to promote sustainable development, peaceful coexistence and responsible leadership.
Diamond Area Community Development Committee (CDC) was established to provide a unified platform through which Community Development Associations work together in promoting sustainable development, peaceful coexistence, transparency and community participation.
Through collaboration with residents, traditional institutions, government agencies and development partners, the Committee continues to coordinate programmes and initiatives that improve the quality of life across Diamond Area.
Diamond Area Community Development Committee serves as the coordinating body for all Community Development Associations (CDAs) within Diamond Area, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State.
Our role is to promote unity, responsible leadership, security, environmental sustainability, community engagement and collaborative development through partnerships with government institutions and stakeholders.
To unite Community Development Associations, encourage active citizen participation, collaborate with government institutions and promote sustainable development, security and environmental responsibility throughout Diamond Area.
To become a model Community Development Committee recognised for transparency, innovation, responsible leadership and community-driven development across Ogun State.
Community development succeeds when residents, Community Development Associations, traditional institutions, government agencies and development partners work together with one shared purpose.
